How to Chromecast CuriosityStream

There are two ways to cast CuriosityStream app to your TV.

  1. Cast CuriosityStream from a smartphone
  2. Cast CuriosityStream from the desktop using Chrome browser

Steps to Cast CuriosityStream to TV from Smartphone

1: Turn on your TV and Connect the Google Chromecast device to the HDMI port.

2: Launch the CuriosityStream app on your smartphone. If you haven’t installed it yet, head to the respective app store to get the app.

3: Open the app and configure your login data.

4: Ensure that the Chromecast device and smartphone are connected to the same WiFi network.

5: Tap the cast icon on the top right corner.

6: Select your Chromecast device from the list of available devices.

7: Finally the CuriosityStream will stream on the Chromecast connected TV.

8: If you want to stop casting, hit the Chromecast icon again and select “Stop Casting”.

Steps to Cast CuriosityStream Using Chrome Browser on PC

1: Connect Chromecast to the HDMI port of your TV.

2: Ensure that your Chromecast and desktop device are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.

3: Open CuriosityStream website on your Chrome browser. Your browser must run on latest version.

4: Click on the three-dotted menu icon on the top right corner of your browser.

5: Tap on the Cast button under menu option.

6: Now, Chrome will search for the available Chromecast device.

7: Choose your Chromecast device. You don’t need to choose any option on the Sources section.

8: Play the CuriosityStream content you want and watch it on your TV.

Note: The above-mentioned procedures are also applicable to TVs with built-in Chromecast support.
